Millwood History Enthusiasts Present:
The Millwood Memory Project
Please tell us about Millwood, Washington's Past. |
It is time to collect and record all the pictures, stories and recollections of Millwood’s many happenings, events, people and places. Let your experiences and memories live on in Millwood’s history. Stores, streets, houses, schools, the parks, paper mill, town events, families, personalities, etc. are just some of the suggested categories. We hope you will share your memories, photos and any other interesting items so they can be documented for the generations to come. Here is how we can help: 1) Millwoodfriends.org – E-mail us your stories and recollections. (info@millwoodfriends.org) 2) Corner Door Cafe – Drop off your pictures and/or your written notes and/or any other interesting items you wish to share with us at 3301 N Argonne. We will record them digitally and promptly return the originals to you. 3) Personal Interview – Email or leave your phone number at the Corner Door (921-9253). We will come to you at the location of your choice to interview and record your memories. A Memory Topic will be regularly accented to provide a focus to a specific subject. Always feel free, however, to share at any time whatever comes to mind about our rich history. Millwood History Enthusiasts plan to build an online "treasure trove" of information related to Millwood's history. We invite you to browse what we have collected and hope that you will help us find more. |
Our current Memory Topic: September 7, 1957, The Paper Mill fire |
